In basketball you are always going to face a team that is better than you. It doesn’t mean to give up, it means to try harder to beat the best team and make everyone surprised. In the NBA finals of the 2003-2004 season, it was the San Antonio Spurs vs. Detroit Pistons. Everybody thought the series would be a blow out, but it ended up to be 4-3 with the spurs earning the championship of that year. Still, the Pistons earned something great, they surprised the league by bringing the top west seed to a game 7 series. They made the Spurs fight to earn that championship and at the end they earned it and the pistons left a legacy with the Spurs.

In the first movie of Rocky, everybody in the movie thought Rocky would diffidently lose to Apollo Greed in a blow out match. While I was watching the movie I saw Rocky training for this big fight for days and when it goes to Apollo Greed’s scene I would usually see him sitting down and talking to his manager. I thought for sure Rocky would win and I said to myself, “Why wouldn’t the director make rocky win?” During the fight they lasted to about fifteen rounds and Rocky made history. He was the first person to go this long in the ring with Apollo Greed. At this point I thought Rocky would win; Rocky had his final punch on Apollo, which almost knocked him out and everybody was cheering and he thought he had won the fight. Also he was celebrating, but the announcer announced that Apollo won because he had more punches on rocky. It ended up that Apollo won, but inside rocky he knew he actually won that fight because he was the first person to last that long with Apollo in the ring.
